Sam Watkins

MA DipArch

Sam joined the architecture division of tp bennett bringing a wide-ranging knowledge in the retail, leisure, residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. His body of work began on Pure City, an 805-bedroom student residential scheme for City University that was completed in 2014, and he has since taken five projects through to construction including Mill Road, a student residential development in Cambridge; Smiths Square, a mixed-use commercial development in Hammersmith; Chineham Gate, an office refurbishment in Basingstoke and two new offices buildings in Cambridge.

With over fifteen years of experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Sam is a member of the practice’s BIM team, and developed a sustainability tool that is now used across tp bennett to inform and assess environmentally-responsible design.

An award-winning practice with global reach, tp bennett is committed to investing in its people, who are at the heart of everything we do.

Our workforce is drawn from many countries with more than 20 nationalities represented and 25 languages spoken, in open-plan offices with an approachable management structure. We believe in an inclusive working environment.

tp bennett is committed to having a diverse workforce. We value diversity and will continue to provide equal opportunities for all employees.

As we employ more than 250 people, we are required to report on our gender pay gap figures. tp bennett welcomes this initiative and is hopeful that it will be a positive step in bridging the gender pay gap in the built environment sector.
