Kevin Bell

BA(Hons) Dip Arch ARB

A specialist in justice design, Kevin joined tp bennett to develop the company’s interests in this growing sector. He brings two decades of experience in complex education and defence projects, many of which have involved liaising with both public and private sectors.

Kevin’s many credits include the design for HMP Berwyn, the UK’s largest prison in North Wales, HMP Thameside, the Three Counties Police Investigation Centre for Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and the magistrates’ courts at Highbury Corner and Wimbledon. He also has worked on several education projects including The Crest Academy in Brent and Lionel Primary and Isleworth Primary Schools, both in west London.

Kevin’s in-depth knowledge of both technical custodial design and the structure of police and prison establishments is a vital asset to the company. A proponent of the use of information technology to facilitate architectural design, he is an advocate of the advantages of collaborative design and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
