With tp bennett since 1998, Leigh spent the first 16 years at the practice’s London HQ before relocating north to establish the companies Manchester office in 2014. Leigh was promoted to Principal Director in 2018, and has since established the second northern office in Leeds in 2019, and heads a teams of 30 architects and interior designers in the northern hub, developing and growing the company portfolio across the North.

Since establishing the northern offices, the team has delivered a number of large projects, including a global centre for Freshfields at One New Bailey, a sustainability driven commercial office redevelopment scheme at Windmill Green, co-working offices for Hana (now part of the Industrious Group) at both Windmill Green and Landmark Buildings in Manchester, regional offices for DLA Piper in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, a new GB Head Office for Hilti at Circle Square in Manchester and ‘The Nest’, and a purpose built training facility for Timpson Group in Wythenshawe.

His multidisciplinary team retains close links to the London office while developing a fast-growing portfolio of projects across the Midlands, North and Scotland including a new commercial office development at the heart of the Wellington Place development in Leeds for MEPC, several new office fit-out projects across the UK for BT as part of their ‘Better Workplace Programme’, including their new Hub building at New Bailey in Manchester and BT/EE contact centre in Newcastle.
