Daniel Dominguez

BA(Hons) BArch ARB

From Colombia, Daniel was educated in Manchester and Barcelona. After graduating, he started to gain experience in the growing justice design sector, working at a major consultancy firm before joining tp bennett in 2016.

Daniel’s projects range from large new-build prisons to prison expansions and related projects such as small-scale refurbishments, young offender institutions and mother and baby units. Working with the Ministry of Justice, Daniel helped to develop and implement Safer Custody pilot schemes and the Safer Cell Guide, court video link projects and training centres, and build the UK’s only BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rated house block at HMP Thameside. He is a strong believer that design can create a supportive, normalised environment and give prisoners tools for rehabilitation.

Daniel also has significant experience in the Education sector, including the delivery of The Crest Academy, a new-build secondary school in London.
