Solution
10 Fenchurch Avenue is a new landmark headquarters building creating a truly collaborative working environment which harbours talent, pushes innovation and supports growth and flexibility.
We worked with the client team from start to finish evaluating the suitability of four buildings, identifying the potential of Fenchurch Avenue and translating the brief into a solution befitting the firm’s principles, which include diversity and inclusion.
The central narrative for the design concept was taken from the client’s long-standing association with the Chelsea Flower Show. It is inspired by the shape of the leaf, representing growth, sustainability and energy and is captured across various architectural and design features in the building.
As well as being beautiful, the new workspace is progressive, tech-enabled and agile, with a range of diverse spaces and destinations. These include an innovation hub, restaurant space, flexible training facility, winter garden and client events space as well as a 200-person auditorium. Central collaboration areas on each of the working floors, themselves connected via an internal architectural staircase, inspire chance encounters and team working.
The project has been hailed a success by the business and enable the workforce to choose where and how they work best. Each floor speaks to the variety of personalities and demographics within the workforce, whilst reflecting the brand values at its heart.
