BT Three Snowhill

Three Snowhill was selected by BT as their Hub office for Birmingham as part of their ‘Better Workplace’ programme. BT’s vision was to create a workspace that is identifiably BT, reflects the local values, cultures and ways of working to bring out the best in their colleagues and create a real sense of community.

tp bennett led the design of the interiors, collaborating with the wider design and BT teams to curate a seamless workspace experience. BT colleagues were previously geographically spread across a number of poor-quality buildings, therefore the design needed to be flexible and adaptable to suit the various BT teams’ workstyles.

The design concept takes BT’s well-known brand and situates it in the local context, with subtle references to the Birmingham’s railway industry, canal networks and jewellery quarter. This builds a design narrative to give the space a strong Birmingham identity while BT’s Brand DNA runs throughout.

Throughout the BREEAM Excellent rated workspace, tp bennett has designed floor layouts to maximise natural light and views out across the city, as well as integrating plenty of planting.

BT’s workspace is now the largest single office fitout by an occupier in Birmingham to date, and the BT’s biggest office hub outside of London.
