Owners Gary Landesberg and the Waney brothers, Arjun and Peter asked tp bennett to design and fit-out a new high-end Italian restaurant in North Audley Street, Mayfair.

In the shell of an ex-High Street bank, the practice created a luxurious 120-cover space, with seating, lighting, banquettes and long bars all displaying an Art Deco influence. Bringing some of the grandeur of the former bank into play, the practice provided theatre cooking areas to animate the dining area, and redeployed the original bank vault as an exclusive private dining room. The number of covers was maximised by offering bar dining as well as conventional tables. Unisex private bathrooms gave the project a further hint of luxurious restaurant innovation.
