Garden Halls wins Property Week Student Accommodation awards

Garden Halls provides accommodation for 1,200 University of London students in the heart of Bloomsbury and adjacent to teaching facilities. The project involved the refurbishment of the existing Hughes Parry Tower and provided a new building on Cartwright Gardens.

The buildings provide a mix of affordable room types and promote the development of a strong student network. They include a wide variety of social and study spaces and were developed in partnership with student focus groups at every stage to ensure that they ultimately meet the needs of its residents. The judges praised Garden Halls for its “first class all round offering” and “outstanding design”.
