Responsibility

Committed to lasting change

Our multidisciplinary team of architects, masterplanners and interior designers work with clients and leading global brands to find sustainable and creative solutions to support their developments and property portfolios.

Our Approach

Towards a regenerative future

What makes us different? The expertise we bring and the understanding of possibilities that only comes from experience of a wide range of project typologies. We’re always inspired by the diversity of skills across our people and the ingenuity of our creative problem-solvers. We also stand out for the way our integrated team brings regenerative thinking into our workflow and, above all, for our commitment to design that works for people and planet.

Our environmental responsibility

We align vision to action, bridging the gap between clients’ ambitions and deliverable targets with bold solutions. We bring expertise in responsible sourcing, through our in-house researchers and proprietary AD Lib platform. Through this, we make a material difference to our supply chain and contribute to tangible progress towards a
circular economy.

We bring in-house expertise in carbon modelling and environmental analysis.
The current impact of climate change guides our decisions and actions,
while looking to the future to understand longer-term risks to communities and
the built environment.

HEALTHY PLACES: DESIGNING FOR WELLBEING

Buildings can help us live our best lives.
In fact, we believe our projects only succeed when they make people feel healthier and happier. Designing for this means fully understanding people’s needs, through rigorous analysis of a brief, context and meeting and listening to them.

CREATING PLACES WHERE EVERYONE BELONGS

Our accredited professionals and committed ambassadors champion accessible and inclusive design across our projects. This might mean cognitive sensory mapping to consider acoustics, lighting, wayfinding and materials, or usability assessments and tailored engagement with specific user groups. We assess the impact of every element of our designs, on everybody.

Our supply chain responsibility

We set up AD Lib in 2023 because we wanted a deeper understanding of the products we specify and their impact on people and planet. It’s an online platform where suppliers provide details on their product around seven categories, from embodied carbon and circularity through to social sustainability and ethics.

We plan to launch this to the public later this year, so watch this space for further information. In the meantime, if you are a supplier wanting to upload your information to the database, get in touch with our sustainability team.
