Solution

A not-for-profit organisation that offers advice and research on a humane and effective penal system, the Prison Reform Trust invited tp bennett to refurbish its Clerkenwell offices.

In need of a facelift, the offices had outlived their usefulness. The practice addressed its layout, putting in central hub areas to add dynamism and efficiency. A new boardroom was created for meetings, and the office design was reinvigorated with the charity’s brand palette used for accent colours on surfaces. Smaller areas were created for informal meetings, and the lighting was enhanced.

With the budget of great importance to this charity, the practice offered its time and expertise pro bono. Donations from suppliers were welcomed, including items from carpets to furniture, such as flip-top tables and stackable chairs, helping the charity’s redemptive work.
