Andrew McLean to lead the strategic development of the practice’s Leeds team

We are pleased to announce that Director Andrew McLean has taken up the post to lead the strategic development of the practice’s Leeds team.

tp bennett has had a team of architects and designers in Leeds since 2019. Andrew’s move to the region will accelerate the company’s presence in the city and comes off the back of significant project wins.

Andrew has been with the practice for eight years and has worked across a wide range of projects for blue chip clients, predominantly in the fields of tech, finance, insurance and healthcare.

The ambition over the next 3–5 years is to grow the Leeds team and presence, building on the excellent tp bennett brand. Leeds is seeing significant growth and with the Leeds City Region being the UK’s largest regional economy outside of London, Andrew is looking to expand the practice and deliver high quality projects across a range of sectors at this exciting time.

tp bennett notably transformed the 1980s One City Square building into a new city-centre work destination, and has recently completed 11 & 12 Wellington Place in the heart of Leeds. The building is one of the UK’s most sustainable office developments, achieving BREEAM Outstanding, EPC A and a NABERS Designed Reviewed Target Rating of 5 Stars – the first in the UK outside of London.
