Andrew Brown

Prior to graduating Andrew worked in architectural practices in South Africa gaining experience in a variety of building types and sectors, including clinical and primary health facilities, refurbished & new build hospitals, schools, banks and residential schemes.  He graduated from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa in 1996 and started his own practice, primarily involved in residential and commercial schemes.

Since relocating to the UK and joining tp bennett in 2001 Andrew has been involved in many major projects.  He is keen to be fully involved from the early stages of all his projects through to completion on site. 

Andrew’s project portfolio includes a new build office development for Marconi, new build engineering block for the University of Cambridge, new build 11-storey office block in Reading, retained façade office developments in Whitehall Place for DEFRA and Golden Square, the City of London West Wing, Justice Rooms refurbishments and Grade II restoration and the renovation of the Guildhall Old Library, which form part of the overall Guildhall campus project as well as delivering an internal fit-out project for Markit at Ropemaker Place in the City of London and framework projects for the Parliamentary Estate Directorate. He is currently delivering an office refurbishment for SSAFA and a new fit-out for KPMG in Cambridge.

 Andrew chairs the practice’s Technical Group which ensures all projects achieve technical and CDM compliance from an early stage.
