Richard Beastall

Richard joined tp bennett as an architect in 1985 and became a Partner in 1995.

During this period Richard initially focused on a number of speculative office schemes and headquarters projects, most notably Microsoft’s UK headquarters in Reading, Natwest’s City and West End office and Britannic Assurance new headquarters on the outskirts of Birmingham.

In 1998, the firm recognised the need for a more specialised approach for occupiers and Richard established the interiors division of tp bennett.  The interiors division has grown considerably over the last 12 years, with Richard leading his team in the delivery of many high profile award-winning projects for clients including: IPC Media, Guardian News & Media, MSN, Macfarlanes, Goldman Sachs, Rio Tinto, Swiss Re, Morgan Stanley, Lovells, Accenture and Oxfam.

Richard and his team offer clients’ unrivalled strength in workplace strategy, design and project delivery based on the philosophy that good design and successful projects are evolved through understanding a client’s business requirements and objectives.

Richard believes much can be learnt from the experiences of other sectors and In addition to office projects his team also works on a number of residential, hotel, hospitality and healthcare projects.

Richard’s 25 years’ experience and commitment to the industry saw him elected to the Board of Management for the British Council for Offices in 2005.
