Jonathan Darke

Jonathan was Managing Partner of SEF Architects for nine years prior to its merger with tp bennett in 2004. He is a Principal Director of tp bennett LLP and leads the award winning health and education team.

Jonathan and his team provide clients with strategic and visionary advice to support their evolving requirements by harnessing best practice from the wide range of sector experience within the practice. His works within both the public and private sectors and projects include seven schools for Haringey Council’s BSF programme, the new ACAD for the Whittington Hospital, the development of a strategic masterplan for London Southbank University, the award winning Trinity Hospice, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for Brunel University, and nine schools for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Jonathan is an active member of the RIBA professional advisory groups supporting evolving client requirements: “Architects for Health” and “Products in Architecture”, and is also active and passionate about integrating the work of artists into the design process through the Royal Society of Arts “Art for Architecture” programme. Recently Jonathan was invited to become a member of the Design Council’s Expert Reference Group. advising on new designs to improve patient dignity within the healthcare environment.
