Emiliano Acciarito

Dipl.-Ing (TH), Architekt Director

Emiliano started his training at “La Sapienza” University of Rome and at the same time worked for a small practice specialising in refurbishment of historical buildings.
He was awarded a scholarship and completed his training at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH), Germany, whilst working for a practice that specialised in timber construction and residential developments.
Emiliano joined tp bennett in 2002 and has since been  involved in a wide range of projects including residential and commercial schemes, a fit-out for the Bank of Tokyo, The Cumberland Hotel in London and the major refurbishment of the iconic Sea Containers House.
More recently Emiliano was part of the competition team that designed the winning entry for a new environmentally sustainable headquarters building for Hanson Building Products in Bedfordshire.  He subsequently took the role of project architect running the job until completion. He is currently the lead designer and responsible for the delivery of a new 60,000 sq ft, high spec commercial building,  forming part of the Sea Containers redevelopment on London’s Southbank
Emiliano is an active member of tp bennett’s sustainability group and is very passionate about sustainable design, innovative construction detailing and materials, always trying to find solutions that are both functional and architecturally seductive.
