Prior to joining tp bennett he gained extensive knowledge in the retail, residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors as well as acquiring a solid background in urban design and masterplanning schemes during his time at London-based practices RTKL, BDP and Sheppard Robson. Projects included the redevelopment of the Trocadero in London, a masterplan for Brent Cross in North London, cinema roll-outs for Warner Village across the UK, the Metropolis Shopping Centre in Moscow and the Naberezhnaya Towers in Moscow. He then set up his own practice working with clients' on boutique office refurbishments and private residences as well as consulting for larger practices and developers.

Sam joined the architecture division of tp bennett in 2012 and has since worked on a number of high profile student residential schemes including the regeneration of Pure City and several commercial developments including the refurbishment of Elsinore House, Hammersmith.

Sam has considerable experience managing teams and is a strong advocate of Building Information Modelling (BIM) at both strategic management level and as an advanced user.
