Katia is an accompllished architect and urban designer with wide ranging design experience from large scale masterplanning and regeneration to architecture, interior design, landscape design and graphic coordination, re-positining and re-branding.

She is responsible for major retail and mixed-use developments in the UK and is actively involved in projecting this expertise to the international markets, being one of the key personnel for business development at international conferences as well as having delivered a number of significant projects.

In her early years Katia worked for David Chipperfield where she was involved in projects varying in scale from private residences and interiors to major international architectural and masterplanning competitions.

For the last ten years Katia has been workig in the mixed-use, retail and leisure sectors.  The experience gained on the retail and leisure-led projects has seen her become one of the main references for design excellence in the international retail sector.  Her urban design skills and retail design expertise are valued by many leading international developers and she has successfully worked on schemes in Italy, Portugal, France, Germany, Turkey, The Middle East, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Thailand.  Her work has been recognised by the ICSC awards in both the best new and best refurbished shopping centre categories.

Katia is an active mentor to Part I and Part II students at the RIBA and collaborates as an external examinar with a number of London Universities.  As a member of Article 25 (Development and Disaster Relief) and Architecture Sans Frontiers UK she has also been involed in community regeneration work internationally.
