Nenad Manasijevic

DipArch RIBA Principal Director

Manas studied architecture at the University of Zagreb before completing his studies at the University of Westminster, where he won the Banister Fletcher Prize for his thesis ‘Ideology, Myth, Architecture’ on Russian Constructivism which explored the relationship between architecture, architectural theory and political ideology.

Following his studies Manas joined Marshall Architecture where he quickly became lead architect and design director delivering projects for blue chip clients, gaining experience in a variety of sectors from small scale office, residential and retail projects to large scale, mixed-use urban regeneration developments in the UK and abroad.

Manas joined tp bennett in 2005 as a Director in the architecture division and was promoted to Principal Director in 2014. His strong design and management skills aligned with his astute understanding of client aspirations has enabled the successful delivery of a wide range of projects including the CBD at One Derby and a 10-storey office building in Lombard Street, London.

More recently Manas has been involved in the student residential and mixed-use sectors. He has been developing the ‘Nido’ brand which has been breaking new ground in student residential design. Manas was lead architect on Nido Spitalfields, a large mixed-use, new build regeneration scheme incorporating the world’s tallest student residential tower, Nido Barcelona, one of Spain’s largest student residential schemes, and Nido Notting Hill, a high-end student residence in West London.

Other current projects include a new mixed-use student residential campus for City University, CB1 student residential development in Cambridge, Blandford Square in Newcastle and Cartwright Gardens, a new urban block student residential campus for University of London in Bloomsbury.
